A few years ago we had neighbors behind us that we did not want to see very much.. So we planted grapevines along the back fence. (we really like the neighbors we have now) The plan worked great the back fence is covered with Grapevines. Concord, Hemrod, Canadice, and a mystery grape on the side fence. As you guessed we have grapes coming out our ears. We have even shared with the birds, and we have asked the neighbors behind us to pick what ever hangs on their side of the fence. Well all last week all we did was bottle grapes.. We made 48 1/2 pints of grape jelly 4 pints that we gave to the other Yeates' and 28 quarts of very yummy grape juice. Holy Cow what will next year be like.

My Mother in law used to have grapes on their back fence for the same reason, but their vines have all died out now =0(
