Well yesterday our furnace died. It made a bunch of moaning , whining , and scary noises. Riley thought there was a monster living in the basement via the cold air return.
We made several phone calls to several heating contractors last night... holy cow do they want a lot of money... so today Randy took the day off and went and bought us a new motor. Clean and shined the inside of the furnace and fixed it ...... for about 1/4 of the cost the repair men wanted.
It is nice to have a handy man near by...... now if he could just find a way to get rid of my cough he would be almost perfect

I can't believe it was a fourth of the cost!!! Sheesh it was totally worth losing a day of work. I'm glad it's running again--now that it really is warm again.
